Optimize Takes Off with TAP Air Portugal

Optimize Investment Partners has partnered with TAP Air Portugal to bring a new video to the airline’s inflight entertainment experience. Created with American audiences in mind, the video tells the stories of different people considering Portugal as a Plan B — from families thinking about their children’s future to couples looking for greater optionality and retirees imagining a new chapter in Europe.

A New Chapter in Portugal

Rather than simply presenting Portugal as a destination, the video explores the personal motivations that can lead Americans to consider building a connection with the country. Safety, quality of life, healthcare, education, the freedom to travel across Europe and Portugal’s welcoming lifestyle all form part of these stories. Through different perspectives and stages of life, one idea connects them: having another option for the future can provide greater flexibility and peace of mind.

From an Idea to a Real Possibility

The video also introduces the Portugal Golden Visa and the role an eligible investment fund can play in the residency process. Through the experiences of its protagonists, viewers are introduced to the Optimize Portugal Golden Opportunities Fund and some of the characteristics investors may consider when evaluating an investment solution, including its open-ended structure, exposure to publicly traded stocks and bonds, liquidity and transparency. The result is a story that connects the idea of a Plan B in Europe with a practical pathway for making that possibility a reality.

Why TAP Air Portugal?

As Portugal’s flag carrier and a key connection between Portugal and the United States, TAP Air Portugal was a natural setting for this story. TAP currently connects Portugal with several major U.S. markets, including New York, Boston, Miami, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Orlando. For many American passengers, a TAP flight is already the beginning of their experience with Portugal — making the journey itself an especially relevant moment to introduce a different way of thinking about the country: not only as somewhere to visit, but as a potential part of their future.
